“I love to travel and had the opportunity to participate in a yoga instructor retreat in Siem Reap, Cambodia, in April 2015. My passion for health and fitness initially sparked my interest in yoga, but it has expanded into a way of life. I enjoy blending styles and provide attention to breath and alignment. With a background in massage therapy and a degree in psychology, I focus on providing a balanced mind-body connection to my classes. My positive energy inspires students to discover their own strength and happiness by practicing yoga.”

“Like many of us, I live for the sweet spot of total presence in connecting breath to movement. I began practicing yoga as a part of therapy as a teenager and have enjoyed the constant growth and challenge of being a student ever since.
As an instructor I strive to empower students to build awareness in mindful movement, find stillness in the mind and find their edge in fortitude. I enjoy sequencing classes that cultivate introspection through pranayama and meditation, inspire instinctive and natural movements and expand expectations beyond the physical.
Yoga is much greater than our time on the mat; this sacred space we share is one of the many opportunities to drop in, grow and breathe. It is an honor to be a part of this space. Let's spend time together connecting through movement, exploring the strength of humanity and surprising ourselves with our capabilities.”

"My yoga journey began at a young age, fumbling my way through VHS tapes (yes you heard that right... yoga on VHS) in my parent's basement trying not to laugh in postures I had never heard of before. I soon graduated out of the basement and into yoga studios, exploring what it felt like to breathe and move as a collective group. It wasn't until I found the power of a community to flow with, that my passion for yoga truly took off.
Through my journey, I have come to realize that yoga is not just a physical practice but also a means of connecting with oneself and all things around us on a deeper level. I have found that when we get lost in this moving meditation and quiet the noise of the outside world, it brings us into a state of complete presence and mindfulness where all other worries and to-do lists can fade away into the background.
As a teacher, I strive to create a safe, sacred space that invites all to connect with their own practice, inner selves, and therefore the community around them. I pride myself on my ability to cultivate a welcoming and grounding environment for anyone who walks through the door. My sequences are both intentional and creative, designed to provide a cohesive and fluid practice that allows students to explore and grow their practice in a supportive and nurturing environment.
So, whether you're a seasoned yogi or a complete newbie, I promise to meet you where you're at and work to guide you towards your full potential. Come flow with me!”

"Yoga came knocking on my door at what seems like the perfect time. Or did I come knocking on yoga's door? In any case, while it's difficult to fully express all of the enchantment this practice has bestowed upon and within my life, my heart holds so much more beauty, and my entire existence has only gotten progressively more magical as I invest and live in yoga.
It is truly a dream to share this powerful practice with others as I navigate and explore this honorable role as a teacher (and always a student).
Combining the sweetness of breath, movement, self-inquiry, and a sprinkle of spirituality - let's play."

“Most of our thoughts throughout the day are filled with remembering the past and anticipating the future. We practice yoga to soak in the present moment to then implement that experience to other aspects of our life.
My yoga journey began in Boulder, Colorado when my athletic journey suddenly froze due to an injury. I was forced to quit the sport I loved and identify a new path with less impact. My identity crisis and general feelings of confusion latched onto the opportunity to connect with my community and self through practicing yoga. One door closed and a new, expressive, promising, inviting door opened.
I joined a teacher training with CorePower Yoga, and my pre-existing thoughts of “this is a just a great workout in a hot, sweaty room” flew out the window. I honed in on the traditional teachings of the practice, and a new perspective formed: “yoga is an exploration of self- discovery”. From that moment forward, yoga was not only sixty minutes a day; the practice of staying present in my mind, body and breath crept into every aspect of my life from cooking breakfast in the morning to hanging with friends in the evening.
As a teacher, I guide my students welcoming all energy levels and intentions. We will focus on our breath in stillness, which will carry us through our asana practice. We will cultivate strength and flow breath to movement, and I will hold space allowing you to push towards your edge or pull back depending on where you are in the present moment. Let’s practice together!”

"In 2013, I discovered the sanctuary that is a yoga practice. I had experienced loss at a young age, and was still consumed with anger, rage, and was drowning in my own ocean of self-hate. It was on my mat that I learned to love myself as I was and learned self-acceptance. As my practice evolved over the years, the many facets of a yoga practice continues to be the medicine that brings me back—time and time again—to self-love + acceptance, always back to love."

“I intend to make everything yoga, to find the ease in life. To honor the power of breath, the play and flow of movement, the expanse of stillness, and the magic of community. Sometimes I struggle and forget, I experience burnout and chaos, imbalance and unease. Then, I join in community to cultivate solidarity, to nourish our collective consciousness, and to remember.
Yoga is union, and I intend to give myself permission to be my most authentic self: I am love. I intend to hold space for our unique journeys, honor our bodily integrity, and embrace our divine vibrations.”

“I have been practicing yoga since 2012 and learned that life, as it happens off the mat, can be practiced on it. Through this practice, I've learned self-awareness, love, acceptance, compassion, and connection, as well as the importance of slowing down. As a teacher, those are the lessons I am most called to share.
My classes are heartfelt and inspired by personal experience and life in the mountains. I plan thoughtful, approachable sequences, offer cues that help align intention with action, and invite self-support by using props and offering pose variations. My classes are often accompanied by music to help relax the mind-body and support the flow of movement.”

“After two decades of yoga, I'm still awed by the many forms the practice can take to adapt to each unique season of my human experience. What started with asana at 14 years old eventually led me to the seven other limbs, and the chance to share the principles with others through teaching.
Yoga continuously aligns me with my own being-ness. Simultaneously, it broadens my perspective to recognize (again and again) the divine interconnectedness of all creation. With yoga, I'm offered the opportunity to live from a more spacious consciousness, shedding illusions of scarcity, smallness, isolation, or fear. Yoga gives me the capacity to hold and navigate through life's challenges from a posture of surrender... which ultimately heralds the peace I seek in these times.
Yoga empowers and it humbles. It educates and it reminds. The practice is more than a somatic or spiritual tool; it's an old friend who presents new wisdom each time we meet.”

"My wild journey into yoga… In my early years of "yoga," I found the practice simply as a workout that happened to spark an internal fire. As life shifted drastically over the years, Yoga continued to find me. When I would turn away from the practice, some way, yoga would simply fall into my path, again and again. It wasn't until a life-altering accident that I truly chose yoga to guide me through this life.
Years ago, the call for something more inspired me to hit the road to nowhere. I didn't have a plan or a thought of what may transpire. I simply trusted the process along the way. Over the years of this wild adventure, I traveled the beautiful Americas from North to South, working within the yoga destination industry. During this time of wonder, I learned from native and modern practices, traditions, and lifestyles. Diving deeply into the yogic lifestyle and learning the depths of the mystics through immersive trainings. The saying "you just wake up one day" was a very real experience as I sat under the budding trees of the islands. In those moments of realization, I found that my life had an "accidental" complete reset. The grand rising opened countless doors of growth and connection to the vast EARTH we walk upon.
I am still amazed and beyond grateful every day for the lifestyle and practices of Yoga, energetic understanding and meditation. These ancient teachings have enhanced my life over and over again. The movement of asana has rejuvenated my body and healed injuries and illnesses I once thought were impossible to overcome. I am eternally grateful for all the lessons along the way and the vast studies I was gifted from the most incredible teachers, mentors, and friends from all over the world.
As I have grown into my practice as a student and observer, I have been granted the opportunity to flourish as a teacher. I strive to create an experience that embodies all that we are as humans. Curating classes that enhance the depths of energy through movement, breath and organic expression. Each class is held with sacred intention, a sense of playfulness through exploration, compassionate understanding and loving respect."

In 2015, I travelled to Dharamsala, India to study yoga and widen my perspective of the world. “I stumbled into yoga while I was living in Colombia – I was dragged (benevolently) to a class (taught in Spanish) and was convinced to keep coming back mainly as a way to rehab a post-surgery knee. My knee found its way to health, but I had cracked open the door to a mesmerizing practice and passion. I studied for a year under Sivananda teachers and then traveled to receive my first training in Brazil. After moving to the magical snow-globe of Breckenridge to teach kid ski lessons, I pursued a second training to diversify my understanding and ability to teach various styles.
Yoga has been a vital component of my own physical, mental, and emotional health and a catalyst for self-discovery. In teaching, I aim to provide accessible classes for all levels. My goal is to encourage students to challenge themselves to turn inwards, towards body, mind & breath, with compassion, kindness and curiosity for themselves. I am overflowingly grateful to share this practice and passion.”

"I've been dealt a handful of tragedy and loss in my life, more than any one person should have to go through. In these darker moments, I sometimes had tools to help me through the journey, and sometimes I did not. Meditation, yoga, and slowing down have changed my life, relationships, and how I choose to interact with the world. This is the basis for the life tools I offer in my classes.
Viewing yoga from many perspectives has led me to sit in the seat of the student, mentee, teacher, assistant, and teacher trainer. I utilize all of these lenses to understand the best ways to mindfully support others. With the knowledge that no two beings are the same, I strive to teach to the individuals that are presently in front of me, adjusting to their unique abilities and needs. I treat everyone with respect and care while setting appropriate boundaries for myself and opportunities for my students to develop their own.
Along my training journey, I fell in love with Yin Yoga and dove deep into this well of knowledge through many teachers, trainings, books and experiences. Class with me is like crawling into a well-made bed, with plenty of empty space to gently marinate within your body, mind and spirit. I hope that you walk out of my classes having experienced a positive and growth-oriented mental and physical feeling state."

"I am originally from Wales, UK and came to Summit County in 2009. Yoga quickly became an important complement to the fast paced, high adrenaline fueled lifestyle we live here and I am a firm believer that a regular practice will teach the mind and the body to deal with unanticipated trauma. I like to construct creative sequences and provide a safe space to move with intelligence and mindfulness. The fitness aspect of yoga is important to me but I've grown to appreciate the mental impact, slowing down the breath and pausing to meditate. When not in the studio I lead a busy life managing my own property management business and taking advantage of all the activities we have in our mountain playground.”

“Having initially found yoga over a decade ago, I would describe my ongoing experience as a path of discovery, healing and connection. The practice of yoga has been a gladiator of transformation in my life and in teaching I have discovered a passion for holding the space of that possibility for others.
Yoga teaches us that the barriers between the conscious self and the experience of knowing who we really are as pure source energy are birthed in the chatter of our minds and that the most direct path to the mind is through the body. I am deeply honored to be able to offer years of experience teaching movement to help guide you through a safe asana practice that builds strength and flexibility while also incorporating breath work and meditation to provide a holistic experience for mind, body and spirit.”

"I discovered yoga in 2009 while still in high school when an injury took me away from my usual activities. I fell in love with the peaceful flow and movement that took me on new journeys in my mind and body. I especially love the grounding and flowing opportunities that yoga provides. As a wilderness and horticultural therapist and student, I greatly value the human nature connection and the importance that mindfulness can play for both ourselves and our Earth. I am passionate about fostering the healing of our environment along with our physical and emotional bodies by utilizing the breath, meditation, connection, and movement. I feel lucky to be surrounded by wise teachers who help me grow and learn in my life and yoga practice. When I'm not doing yoga I enjoy long distance bike touring, growing food, running, and slacklining. Come join me in flow!"

"I foster an awareness of yoga as a lifestyle, rather than merely a physical practice. My classes are strong yet balanced to challenge and embolden students. I encourage the practice of yogic principles on and off the mat, approaching the practice of yoga as an opportunity to heal the mind, body, spirit connection. Every breath is an opportunity for reformation and acceptance, and I lead students to tap into the simplicity of this transformational power."

"I first discovered yoga in college and have been a dedicated student ever since. I came to yoga for the physical strength & flexibility I experienced, and stayed for the inward exploration & growth I found. I completed my RYT-200 in 2018 through Meta Yoga Schools right here in Breckenridge, Colorado, and have been teaching locally ever since. I completed my master's in Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling at Naropa University in 2022 & work in the community as a therapist in private practice.
In my classes, I strive to create an open space for my community of students to dig deeper into Self and utilize yoga to improve mind, body, & spirit connections. I approach teaching from a trauma-informed lens, and encourage my students to attune to their needs throughout.
I enjoy sequencing poses that help balance and compliment the energetic nature of the lifestyle here in Colorado. I specialize in curating strong, intuitive, and empowering classes that are infused with intention, contemplative practice, breath work, and meaning. My goal is to inspire students to be their best self, both on and off the mat."

“Posture was why I began going to yoga. I had horrible posture and was often told that...by strangers. I decided yoga would be my gateway to standing tall and proud with no more comments from the peanut gallery. It has lead me further than I expected and become more ingrained in my daily life than I knew was possible. Yoga has taught me to slow down, to be introspective and to listen to myself as well as others more genuinely. I’ve been blessed with kind and knowledgeable teachers with varying styles from power to Yoga Nidra, and although I didn’t always appreciate the slower modes of yoga I enjoy and learn from every breath and asana.
I’d always wanted to teach yoga, but could never find the time to complete the 200-hour training, that is until the restaurant I worked at closed and I was left with some time until I began a new job. Lucky for me there was a YTT session starting in Nederland at Shoshoni Ashram shortly after my new-found freedom! I am excited to be at Meta, which I have called my home studio since its inception.
I love my community and seeing it thrive by living healthfully and joyfully. I hope to bring a fun and energetic practice to my fellows with flows combining breathwork, strength and mobility. I enjoy seeing students having a great time, learning and doing things they didn’t know they could – an excited empowerment you can see.”
