On a tiny strip of coral and palm trees surrounded by the Caribbean Sea, time moves differently as the hurry of the modern world simply washes away. Days are measured by the rise of the sun, the swell of the full moon, and unhurried starlit conversations. Expand in the quiet space between breaths, slowing to the soft rhythm of waves beneath overwater bungalows. Drop fully into the present moment and surrender to the deep unwinding of your own breath.

Arriving under the peak radiance of the Full Moon, we gather on the secluded private island of Thatch Caye, dedicated solely to our practice, our play, and our rest. Tides of the Sacred is a 6-day immersive invitation to align with the raw intelligence of nature—where ancient earth meets open sea.

Together, we will journey inward through solar movement, lunar stillness, and elemental adventure. Guided by Cheese’s dynamic, moon-aligned Vinyasa flows and Kimberly’s grounding Yin Yoga, we will explore the sacred balance within. Step off your mat to explore ancient Maya caves and vibrant marine sanctuaries. From the living coral reef to the ancient limestone belly of the earth, recalibrate your inner compass and surrender to the tide.

What to Expect on Your sacred Journey

This private island sanctuary is open to all seekers of yoga, nature, and quiet depth, regardless of experience level. We’ll harness the gentle, elemental energy of the Belizean caye to guide you through a week of balance, movement, and deep integration:

Solar & Lunar Practices: Align with the tides through daily practices on the water's edge, balancing energizing Vinyasa flows to ignite heat with grounding Yin Yoga to invite deep, quiet integration.

Ancestral Earth Journey: Venture into the Maya underworld with an expedition through Actun Tunichil Muknal (ATM) Cave, wading through subterranean rivers to witness ancient relics and limestone caverns in the heart of the earth.

Ocean Exploration: Boat out to snorkel thesecond-largest barrier reef system in the world. Guided by expert locals, swim among vibrant coral gardens with the possibility of seeing tropical fish, rays, and sea turtles in crystal-clear waters.

Sacred Spirit Ceremony: Gather as night falls over the caye for a private, traditional ceremony led by a local Mayan healer to clear energy, ground your intention, and honor the lineage of the land.

Nourishment & Island Living: Savor the flavors of our all-inclusive home for the week with fresh, chef-prepared meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Between practices, connect with community or enjoy quiet play with unlimited access to the saltwater pool, refreshing cold plunge, breezy watercraft, and beach bicycles.

Getting to Thatch Caye

Transportation to Belize is recommended through Belize City Airport (BZE).

A transfer flight to and from Dangirga airport will be provided as part of the retreat rate, followed by a boat transfer to the island.

Arrival flights should land in BZE by 3pm on November 2nd and departure flights should take off no earlier than 11am on November 7th.

If your international flight is delayed or canceled and alternate transportation or revised transfer arrangements are required, any additional transportation expenses associated with these changes will be the responsibility of the guest.

Payment + Cancellation Policy

An $800 non-refundable deposit is needed to reserve your place on the retreat. Remaining balance is due by July 31st, 2028.

A transfer of reservation is available if you would like to change the reservation to someone else’s name at any point. Collected funds cannot be refunded at any point.
