Surya: the Sun and the deity of solar energy connects us to the vibrancy of life, vitality, will power and empowers us to purify anything that does not serve our highest self, to remember that when we shine our light brightly into the world we give others permission to do the same.
Soma: the Moon, lunar energy, is connected to the water element and is cooling, nurturing and nourishing in nature. It is known as the nectar of life that rejuvenates and restores our body, mind and spirit. Soma is thought to feed not only the cells and DNA of the body, but also the mind and consciousness.
Our time on Amorgos included experiences and practices that created a balance of these solar and lunar energies to help us awaken to the wisdom of our true nature and radiant spirit. The sun inspired and the sea carried us while we explored new boundaries and possibilities within ourselves.
